Kings Heath Test Centre

We've got you covered when it comes to the Kings Heath driving test centre.

Last updated: 17 Jul 2019

Located just off the A345, the Kings Heath Test Centre is nestled between an Iceland supermarket and a local butcher’s shop - just a stone’s throw away from the large roundabout near the Sainsbury’s on Maypole Lane.

Due to being so close to the Cocks Moors Woods Test Centre, there might be some overlap with the test routes. It’s advisable that you get lots of practice driving in the surrounding areas of both test centres with your driving instructor before booking your test. The residential areas of Maypole, Solihull Lodge, Highters Heath and Kings Norton will be good places to start.

Kings Heath Test Centre: 955 Alcester Road South, Birmingham, West Midlands, B14 5JA.

Contact information

01214 305294 (please note that this phone number can’t be used to book driving tests.)

The test centre is located near a row of shops close to an Iceland supermarket so there is no availability for candidate parking. When it’s busy you will struggle to get to the test centre on time, so it’s worth arriving around 10 mins early to guarantee that you don’t miss your test.

There are no toilets available for candidates at this test centre, so bear that in mind on test day!

The test centre isn’t very accessible, as there is one step leading into the test centre. We advise that you call ahead to discuss your needs and they will make further arrangements with you at this test centre.
